Round 1 Southern Region Interclub 2021 Nowra Criterium

The Southern Series Interclub races are held over 4 events

Every Year Camden CC, Illawarra CC, Nowra Velo Club, Southern Highlands CC, Goulburn CC, Jindabyne CC and Eurobodalla CC go head to head for the prestigious Southern Region Interclub trophy.

Round 1 is hosted by Nowra Velo Club, this is a graded criterium race.

The series is a great way to try new courses and meet new people and compete as a team for Camden against other clubs

There is a grade for everyone so don’t worry if you are new to racing or a seasoned pro just come and support the club.

You will be graded by the handicapper. Entries Close 14th February.

Sign on will be at Jetts Cafe from 8 am with the race starting at 9 am sharp

Race rules for the Nowra Interclub on the Albatross Aviation Tech Park circuit.

All riders must be signed on at least 30 minutes prior to the start of their respective event.

Riders may take two laps out for a wheel change due to puncture or mechanical mishap up to 2 laps to go.

Lapped riders will be withdrawn at 2 laps to go.

Should a small group lap the field and official positions are still to be determined amongst the lapped riders, they will sprint for those positions at 2 laps to go.

Finish Positions must be claimed after a race finish. The claim position will be situated beyond the finish line.

Any direction given by traffic controllers and commissaire must be followed.

Race start times and duration

Division 2 B – Start 9.00 am for 25 min + 2 Laps

Division 2 A – Start 9.35 am for 30 min + 2 Laps

Division 1 B – Start 10.20 am for 40 min + 2 Laps

Division 1 A – Start 11.10 am for 45 min + 2 Laps

Parking will be at the car park closest to the exit onto Braidwood Road or out along Braidwood Road.

Do not park where the tankers fill up with water.

Come and join in the fun and show them why Camden Cycle Club is the best in the region.

Round 3: Saturday 17th April Southern Highlands Cycle Club 2 pm

You must be at least 17 to enter this race.
