Camden Cycle Club Championships 2020
Our annual Club Championships is where cyclists flex their race skills to find the ultimate club champions.
As COVID-19 has made some events difficult to host, this year the championships will be held over 4 events, 3 Criteriums and 1 Individual Time Trial (ITT)
We will compete in 4 divisions in each round so even if you are new to racing you will still have a chance of getting points as you will be with people of similar abilities.
Round 1: 6th September – Criterium race at Macquarie Fields.
Round 2: 17th October – Individual Time Trial (ITT) at Ridge Road Oakdale (Saturday 2 pm)
Round 3: 18th October – Criterium race at Macquarie Fields.
Round 4: 1st November – Criterium race at Macquarie Fields. (CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER)
The top 10 finishers in each division will get points, 1st 10 points, 2nd 9 points down to 10th 1 point.
We will be taking the points from the best two rounds out of the three crits for each rider, that way if you can’t make one of the crits all is not lost. However, the ITT is compulsory. If you can’t make it you will be allocated 0 points for this round.
At the end of the 4 rounds, there will be a winner in each division.
