Rhys O’Shea Christmas Classic Cycling Road Race 2021

Come out and celebrate the life of an inspirational rider, Rhys O’Shea, at the Rhys O’Shea Christmas Classic Cycling Road Race, sponsored by Dawbuts.

The O’Shea family and Dawbuts are together putting in $2,800 to the cash prize pool.

Camden Cycle Club will be supplying trophies and medals to place getters in all grades as well as the first non-placing female.

Please come out and support this race as we remember his legacy as a friendly and hard-riding former member.

Startline entries will be more expensive at $25, we take Credit Card Tap, Apple Pay and Google Pay

We plan to split this into 5 grades (A to E) with cash prizes for the podium as well as the first female in each grade, for a total of 20 cash prizes.

E GRADE RACES FREE. Exciting news, entry will be free for E Grade, you just need an AusCycling race license, you can get a free 4-week trial license here https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial

E Grade is for people new to racing and cycling, if your average speed is 25km or less this is the one for you.

There will be free drinks, treats etc. available at the start line and the podium ceremony.

The race will be run as a graded scratch race format:
A&B Grades ~65km (4 laps of Morton Rd, Menangle)
C&D Grades ~48km (3 laps of Morton Rd, Menangle)
E Grade ~32km (2 laps of Morton Rd, Menangle) FREE ENTRY
