DESCRIPTION:Camden Cycle Club – Club Championships Round 2: Graded Criterium at Macquarie Fields!\nThe Camden Cycle Club Championships continue with Round 2 – a fast-paced and tactical Graded Criterium! Join us at Macquarie Fields for an exciting morning of criterium racing. Riders will be separated into grades based on ability\, ensuring competitive racing within each group. Expect strategic positioning and thrilling sprints to the finish line as riders battle for crucial championship points in this second of five rounds. \nEnter on Startline. \nStart times and duration:\n7:30 am – E Grade 15 min + 2 laps (Full Track)\n7:50 am – Juniors 10 min + 1 lap (Short Track)\n8:00 am – D Grade 25min + 2 laps (Full Track)\n8:00 am – C Grade 30 min + 2 Laps (Full Track)\n8:30 am – Juniors 15 min + 1 lap (Short Track)\n9:00 am – B Grade 40 min + 2 Laps (Full Track)\n9:00 am – A Grade 45 min + 2 Laps (Full Track) \nThis is a fantastic opportunity for all Camden Cycle Club members to participate in a dynamic and engaging race format. Whether you’re aiming for the overall championship title or enjoy the thrill of criterium racing\, come along and be part of the action! \nRound 2 of 5 – every point counts! \nWe accommodate all skill levels\, with multiple divisions in each round. Whether you’re a seasoned racer or new to the sport\, you’ll compete against others of similar abilities. \nWe are thrilled to announce that we’re opening the club championships to our add-on members. \nAn Add-On Membership is available through AusCycling for individuals whose primary club is elsewhere but who are actively involved with our club\, such as participating in group rides or living locally. This ensures members have a genuine connection to our club community. While they won’t compete for points in the series\, their participation will add depth and excitement to the competition for everyone involved. \nThe event is open to ages U15 and over (U15 turn 13 or 14 this calendar year. \nIf you want to try racing but don’t have a race licence\, you can do an AusCycling 4-week race licence free trial here https://auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial \nYou will get 3 points for entering each event\, and the top 10 finishers in each division will get points\, 1st 10 points\, 2nd 9 points\, down to 10th 1 point in each round. \nPoints will be taken from your best four rounds.
