DESCRIPTION:Every Year\, Camden CC\, Illawarra CC\, Nowra Velo Club\, Southern Highlands CC\, Goulburn CC and Jindabyne CC go head to head for the prestigious Southern Region Interclub trophy. The Southern Series Interclub races are held over five events. \nThis entry is open to the above clubs only. \nNowra Velo Club hosts round 1\, which is a graded criterium race. \nThe series is a great way to try new courses\, meet new people\, and compete as a team for Camden against other clubs \nThere is a grade for everyone\, so don’t worry if you are new to racing or a seasoned pro; just come and support the club. \nSign up here via Bunchuer https://bit.ly/nowraint2025\nSign-on and number collection will be from 8 am\, with the race starting at 9 am sharp. \nThere will be a coffee van for food and drinks. \nRace rules for the Nowra Interclub on the Albatross Aviation Tech Park circuit. \nAll riders must be signed on at least 30 minutes before the start of their respective event. \nRiders may take two laps out for a wheel change due to a puncture or mechanical mishap up to 2 laps to go. Lapped riders will be withdrawn at two laps to go. \nShould a small group lap the field and official positions are still to be determined amongst the lapped riders\, they will sprint for those positions with 2 laps to go. \nFinish Positions must be claimed after the race. DESCRIPTION:If you have ever wanted to try group rides and are unsure where to start\, this is the one for you. This ride will be at a slow pace (average 22-25kph)\, so it’s ideal for the beginner or anyone who wants a relaxed ride and a chat as we cruise around the beautiful Macarthur area. \nGroup rides are a great place to meet like-minded people\, make friends and get fit. You will learn about group ride etiquette and have a great time. \nStart Point: Narellan Sports Hub. As you enter the facility\, turn right. DESCRIPTION:Memorial Ride for Terry Tezza Diomis\nOn the 15th of January\, 2023\, we lost one of the great ones\, Terry Tezza Diomis\, after a battle with ongoing health issues. We would love to invite everyone on a memorial ride to celebrate his life. \nWe will ride from Onslow Oval (Tennis Court Side) in Camden at 7 am to Burragorang Lookout and then head back to Camden Valley Inn where we can have Coffee or Breakfast with his Family at 9:30 am where we have tables booked. \nSlower riders can ride to the Oaks and turn around or just meet us at Camden Valley Inn. \nTezza wished nothing but the best for everyone around him and always went out of his way to make people happy and feel included; he had a story for every occasion and a big cheesy smile that would light up a room. Walking past Ronnie’s and not hearing your name called over the PA system is not the same.

SUMMARY:Christmas Belly Buster Ride 2024
DESCRIPTION:So you ate and drank too much over Christmas. It’s time to bust that gut and put a big ride in. \nWe will meet opposite Camden Valley Inn and depart at 7:00 a.m. (Sharp). Everyone is welcome to join us.  \nA group will also leave Narellan Sports Hub at 6:30 am to meet everyone at Camden Valley Inn at 7 am. \nFor those doing the FESTIVE 500\, this is an excellent opportunity to put some big Km’s on the board. \nThe ride will be a no-drop ride. Riders will wait to re-group at the top of most climbs. The average speed is around 25-30kph. There will be two groups\, one faster than the other. \nWe will go from Camden to Picton Mulhollands Rd – Scroggies Rd – Barkers Lodge Rd to Oakdale and up to Burragorang. Look out for some spectacular views. \nThe ride is approx 86km from Camden. Those looking for something a bit shorter and more manageable while still challenging yourself can turn right at the end of Fergusson Rd and head back via The Oaks. Don’t forget to stop at The Oaks bakery for a treat and coffee. \n

It’s time to dust off your most outrageous Christmas kit (or let’s be honest\, your most questionable cycling gear) and join us for a fun social spin to Luddenham for coffee and cake! \nThe Route: \nStarting at Narellan Sports Hub at 7:30 am\, we’ll ride the Northern Rd to Luddenham Village Café at the Ampol Service Station. The pace will be steady\, so there’s no need to worry about outpacing Santa’s reindeer. \nThere will be options after that for anyone who wants to ride further to Glenmore Park or you can head back to Narellan. \nThe Kit: \nUgly Christmas sweaters? Check! Mismatched socks? Double check! Anything that screams\, “I went digging through the back of my closet and found this gem!”? Absolutely! Let’s turn heads and spread some holiday cheer (and maybe a little bit of WTF-ness) along the way. \nCoffee and Cake: \nOnce we arrive at Luddenham\, it’s time to refuel with some well-deserved coffee and cake at the Cafe next to the Ampol Petrol Station. We’ll grab a spot in the sunshine (fingers crossed!) and catch up on all the latest cycling gossip (or marvel at each other’s questionable fashion choices). \nAlso\, remember to bring your helmet\, a sense of humour\, and maybe a spare pair of eyes (you might need them after witnessing all the questionable fashion choices). \n**Let’s make this ride an unforgettable (and slightly embarrassing) holiday tradition! ** \n
