DESCRIPTION:Get ready CycloCross is coming to Camden on the 30th of July for our first King and Queen of the Valley race at Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park.\nUnleash Your Inner Adventurer with Cyclocross Racing\, we allow any bikes in some categories including Mountain Bikes\, Gravel Bikes or whatever bike. \nREGISTER ON BUNCHUER HERE: \nStartline entries will also be available\, Bunchuer is preferred. \nCourse Map: https://www.strava.com/routes/3107484399710232322 \nCycloCross\, a thrilling and unique form of bike racing\, combines the elements of road cycling\, mountain biking\, and steeplechase. With its off-road courses\, varied terrains\, and exciting challenges\, cyclocross offers a distinct and exhilarating experience for riders and spectators alike. \nCourse Variety and Challenges: Cyclocross courses are a playground of diverse terrains that test a rider’s skills and endurance. From grass to dirt\, mud to gravel\, sand and pavement\, these courses offer an assortment of surfaces that demand adaptability and quick decision-making. The twisty circuits often include barriers and other features\, requiring riders to dismount and remount their bikes skillfully. Hills\, sand pits\, and muddy sections add an extra layer of fun\, encouraging racers to shoulder their bikes and run through these challenging stretches. \nRace Format and Duration: Unlike traditional races based on distance\, cyclocross races are time-based similar to a criterium\, measured by the number of laps completed. Race durations vary depending on the category\, with shorter races for beginners and longer races for experienced riders. A race can range from a quick 20 minutes for newcomers to an intense 60 minutes for seasoned participants. \nInclusive for All Types of Bikes: Cyclocross embraces a spirit of inclusivity by offering various categories open to different types of bikes. While some grades are dedicated to riders with specialized cyclocross bikes\, some grades welcome mountain bikes and other types of bicycles. This flexibility allows riders to participate and enjoy the unique challenges of cyclocross\, regardless of their bike choice. \nThrills and Safety: Cyclocross racing offers a thrilling experience with its unpredictable terrains and exciting obstacles. Falls and mishaps are part of the sport\, but they usually result in little more than a muddy adventure and some laughter from the supportive spectators. DESCRIPTION:The Trek Compass ITT Series 2023\, Round 1 hosted by Camden Cycle Club \n4 rounds spread over 5 months\, hosted by different clubs on 4 courses. There’s a course that will suit everyone. Series sponsor\, Trek Bicycles will be donating $1\,600 in vouchers spread evenly across all age categories. \nAn additional $1600 in CASH total comes from the host clubs\, Camden Cycle Club\, Manly Cycle Club\, Penrith Cycle Club and Southern Cross Cycle Club. \nRound 1 is your opportunity to race against the clock on one of Australia’s best race tracks\, Eastern Creek! Not only that\, it’ll be raced in the evening\, underlights! \nEntry is open to all AusCycling race members including triathletes \nEntry via Bunchuer here  \nEntry through Gate A\, off Ferrers rd\, with parking to be behind the Pit Lane garages \nWe will be racing the FULL GARDINER GP Circuit in the normal race direction. \nOn the night just line up from 6 pm at the start as there won’t be assigned start times. \nSign-on will be in the first garage of Pit Lane \nSeries categories are: \n\nElite Men\nElite Women\nMasters 30+ Women\nMasters 30+ Men\nMaster 50+ Women\nMasters 50+ Men\nU19 Female\nU19 Male\n\nRoad and TT bikes are welcome. DESCRIPTION:Round 4 of the Club Championships will be an Individual Time Trial under lights at Sydney Motorsport park\nCompete for the ultimate bragging rights and a share in over $2000 in vouchers from Downes Nursery. Prizes\, trophies and more are awarded to each division’s overall winners and runners-up. \nWe will be running Round 1 of the Trek Compass ITT Series on the night. \nGates open at 5:00 PM \nEntry off the roundabout at Brabham Dr and Ferrers Rd intersection. \nWe will be racing the FULL GP Circuit. DESCRIPTION:Come and join our FREE Junior’s development program held at 8 am SHARP every Sunday morning. \nREGISTER HERE on Ride Nation  \nThis week we are at Macquarie Fields\nSIGN ON 7:30 am – Start 8 am SHARP \nThey will learn the fundamentals of riding near others\, cornering etc while having some fun. \nAll registered Come and Try participants will receive the benefits of the AusCycling 4 Week Free Trial membership after which they will need to join the club to participate. \nKids will learn the fundamental skills they will need to participate in the various junior cycling events held each week. \nYou will find us at the Car Park behind the Football fields. \n\nFamily Friendly\nAll Abilities Catered for\nChildren over 6yrs\nTerms & Conditions\nKids must be at least 6 yrs old and are required to bring their own bikes BMX\, Mountain or Road (no balance bikes\, no training wheels)\, helmets and covered shoes are required and gloves are a good idea as well.\n\nPlease contact us with any questions.
