DESCRIPTION:(Event Postponed) \nRound 1 of the Tour of August is hosted by Lidcombe Auburn Cycle Club & Bankstown Sports Cycle Club and will be a Road Race on the famous Lansdowne Race Track at Lansdowne. \nThis is a graded race so even if you have little racing experience or want to try racing there will be a grade to suit your fitness level come out for an afternoon of fun. \nThe race will be run as a Graded Scratch Road Race (estimated start times).\nGrade A: 25 laps (3:15pm)\nGrade B: 20 laps (1:15pm)\nGrade C: 16 laps (12:15pm)\nGrade D: 12 laps (11:30am)\nWomen’s Grade A: 18 laps (2:15pm)\nWomen’s Grade B: 14 laps (12:15am)\nWomen’s Grade C: 10 laps (11:30am) Not part of the Tour of August. Racing grade for the day only. \nENTRIES CLOSE Friday 6th August cost $25. Enter on Bunchuer http://ow.ly/Iemm50FoGEq \nYou must be 16 years or older to enter. \nThe Tour of August is a series of 4 events hosted by Lidcombe/Auburn Cycle Club\, Bankstown Sports Cycling Club\, Camden Cycle Club\, Penrith Cycle Club\, Parramatta Cycle Club. Entries from all clubs welcome \nThe series is a great way to try new courses\, meet new people and show your club colours \nIf you don’t have a race license you can get a 4 week free trial with AusCycling here https://www.auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial \nSign on from 11:00 am with grades starting from 11:30am near the amenities block. \nParking will be accessed via Henry Lawson Drive. Take care as you will be crossing the race track. Alternative access from Lucinda Ave (walk into the race circuit). \nThe presentation will be close to the race starting point. Prize Money will be awarded for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd in all grades.
