SUMMARY:Compass Individual Time Trial Series Round 2
DESCRIPTION:This is your opportunity to race against the clock on one of Australia’s best race tracks\, Eastern Creek! Not only that\, it’ll be raced in the evening\, under lights! \nEntry open to all AusCycling race members \nRound 2 is proudly hosted by Camden Cycle Club. \nThis Time Trial event will form part of the Compass Individual Time Trial (ITT) Series – a four-event series hosted by Camden Cycle Club\, Manly Cycle Club\, Penrith Cycle Club and Southern Cross Cycle Club. \nSign up on Bunchuer here: buncheur.com/camden-cycling-club-compass-itt-series-round-2-camden-cc \nEntries will be accepted on the day of the event\, but if you can sign up early it helps us get ready with the timing equipment. \nSeries categories are: \n\nElite Men\nElite Women\nMasters 30+ Women\nMasters 30+ Men\nMaster 50+ Women\nMasters 50+ Men\nU17 Female\nU17 Male\nU19 Female\nU19 Male\n\nRoad and TT bikes are welcome. We also welcome Para athletes and U15’s (free) to this event however\, they will be outside of the Compass series. \n5 x laps for all categories (19.3km). \nRegistration from 5:30 pm and the first rider is released at 6:30 pm. Entry via Gate A\, Ferrers Road\, parking in behind pit lane. Riders will be released 1 min apart from a start chute on pit lane! \nCash prizes for the winner of category in the series. \nScoring \n1st – 9 points\, 2nd – 6points\, 3rd – 4 points\, 4th – 3 points\, 5th – 2 points. All other competitors -1 point towards a series tally. The rider with the most points in each grade at the end of Rd 4 wins. \nSome important times for you to remember for Saturday Evening:– Gates open at 5:30pm\, Entry via Gate A\, Ferrers road – Racing starts at 6:30pm for the first rider.– All competitors will do 5 laps (19.31km) of the Full GP circuit (except U15 who will do 2 laps 7.72km). – Please arrive on site to pick up your race pack at least 15 minutes before your start time.– You will be given a transponder\, please attach this to your front forks.– There will be competitors starting every 1 minute\, so please take care when entering the area and give right of way to all competitors.– NO WARMING UP ON THE TRACK after 6:30pm– If\, for any reason\, you miss your slot\, you will still be able to participate\, but there may be a short wait to get you on the track.\n– We also have some extra categories for Para athletes and U15\, they will be outside the Compass series and on the track first. Please give them ample space\n\n\nApproximate RELEASE TIMES\n6:30pm – U15\, U17 and U19\n6:40pm – Para Athletes\n6:50pm – Mens and women’s Elite\n7:10pm – Mens and women’s 30-49\n7:40pm – Mens and women’s 50+\n\n\nWET WEATHER CONTINGENCY\nIn case of wet weather\, we will change to the NORTH CIRCUIT ONLY for safety reasons.
