SUMMARY:Club Championships 2024 Round 5 Road Race
DESCRIPTION:Round 5 of the Club Championships will be a road race at the famous Sydney Motorsport Park.\nEntry via Bunchuer here https://bit.ly/5clubchamps2024 \nGates open at 5:30 am \nEntry off the roundabout at Brabham Dr and Ferrers Rd intersection. \nSign-on will be here from 5:45 am https://what3words.com/mile.steeped.rise \nWe will be racing the FULL GP Circuit. \nRacing starts at 6:45 am sharp. \n\nA grade 60min + 1 laps\nB grade 50min + 1 laps\nC grade 40min + 1 laps\nD grade 30min + 1 laps\nE grade 20min + 1 laps\n\n  \nSeries dates:\nRound 1: 8th June – Hill Climb\nRound 2: 23rd June – Elimination Criterium\nRound 3: 14th July – Individual Time Trial\nRound 4: 20th July – Criterium (Landsdowne)\nRound 5: 24th August – Road Race (SMSP) \nYou will get 3 points for entering each event\, and the top 10 positions for each race\, so consistency is key to winning the title. \nThe handicapper will determine your grade\, which you can find here [link coming soon]. If you don’t see your name on the list\, let us know\, and we’ll assign you a division. Please note that once the series starts\, grade assignments will not change. \nThe event is open to ages U15 and over (U15 turn 13 or 14 this calendar year.) \nWe accommodate all skill levels\, with multiple divisions in each round. Whether you’re a seasoned racer or new to the sport\, you’ll compete against others of similar abilities. \nWe are thrilled to announce that we’re opening the club championships to our add-on members. \nWe appreciate the significant contributions of our add-on members and are excited to welcome them to participate in the upcoming club championships! While they won’t compete for points in the series\, their participation will add depth and excitement to the competition for everyone involved. \nIf you want to try racing but don’t have a race licence\, you can do an AusCycling 4-week race licence free trial here https://auscycling.org.au/membership/other/free-trial \nYou will get 3 points for entering each event\, and the top 10 finishers in each division will get points\, 1st 10 points\, 2nd 9 points down to 10th 1 point in each round. \nPoints will be taken from your best four rounds. \nEnter today for your chance of victory.
